  Jeannie Lynn Paske

Jeannie Lynn Paske is the creator of Obsolete World, the place her various creatures and monsters call home. She uses layers of watercolor, charcoal, pastel and ink to create the rich textures and fine line details of this land. Thinly curling tendrils and wispy strands of hair adorn the often melancholy faced inhabitants. Time and thought are also a big part of this strange world, as most of her paintings display various shapes and forms contemplating their surroundings or simply waiting patiently.

Jeannie has been drawing and painting since she was a very small child. She attended Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, Washington for a short time in the mid 90's, but due to a lack of tuition, she is a mostly self-trained artist. She has collaborated with her good friend/musician Matthew Cooper of Eluvium on several projects in the past five years and is working to publish a small illustrated novel of her work sometime in the near future.

She currently resides in Portland, Oregon with Matthew and one of her biggest inspirations, a very large dog named Atticus.
